Sony Music South has acquired the music rights of ‘I’, scheduled to be released Sep 15.

“We are just 5 days away from the #iAudioLaunch! The A.R Rahman 
Adhiradi #iMusic album is coming your way on Monday! #i,” Sony Music 
South tweeted Wednesday.

The film’s official poster was also unveiled in the tweet.

“I” features Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. It is 
reportedly made on a budget of Rs.180 crore, and has been on floors for 
nearly two years.

The film’s post-production work featuring a lot of visual effects is currently underway.

Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to attend the audio 
launch of the film, which is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated film Mary Kom starring Priyanka Chopra
 in the lead has got registers jingling to an extent. Considering the 
film has only one known face, the box office figures are quite 
impressive. Mary Kom, which 
released on Friday (September), got off to a good start and continued to
 rake in money over the weekend as well. By the end of three days, PC’s 
film had minted around Rs 28 crore nett at the Indian box office. However, on Monday, it did just about okay business bringing its total collection to Rs 30.50 crore.

According to Boxofficeindia, “Mary Kom
 dropped badly on Monday as it recorded business in the 3.25-3.50 crore 
nett range taking its four day total to 30.50 crore nett. The film had 
trended well over the weekend but there was always a chance of drop as 
it was premium multiplexes carrying the film which dropped off on Monday
 and there were so many screenings.”
