When Shaad (Ali) had first had the idea that this character will be played by Govinda I knew it was going to be amazing. He’s danced differently, his whole vibe is different. He’s playing a menacing character and its going to be amazing to watch what he’s done. I grew up in the 90′s, so I have literally grown up on Govinda’s movies be it Raja Babu, or all those Hero No.1 and Coolie No.1 series, I simply adore him. In school they used to tease me and call me Junior Govinda, because I used to dress like him and I used to listen to all his songs. I have a collection of all his music, most of those chart busters that he made popular.<br /><br />Further, Deepika Padukone’s boyfriend said, “In fact it was amazing, when he wrapped his part for the schedule of Kill Dill, I had my collection of his songs, and I knew it that the day he wraps the shoot that night am going to play all his songs. So I was playing all his songs from Meri pant bhi sexy to Raste se ja raha tha, to Hero No.1, everything and dancing to them. I remember I was full on dancing and had broken a sweat, and he was just standing there giving me a look and in the middle of it all, he just broke into a dance and everyone’s eyes were on him. We danced the whole night it was so amazing. He’s an incredible guy, you have to listen to the stories he has to tell about what all he’s done and been through. Govinda is truly God gifted, as an actor and a performer no one comes close. For me more than awards or the money, its moments like these that make me happy, like doing a scene with Govinda, or getting a compliment from Bachchan sir, Shah Rukh sir, or even working with Anil Kapoor (Dil Dhadakne Do). I can’t explain the feeling when I hear it from the people that I have grown up watching and come to idolise. It’s the biggest high an actor can ever get. Sometimes I can’t believe that I am actually working with these guys, it’s surreal because in my life they are cult figures, so it’s an amazing feeling to experience.”

The tune describes the days in the week and asks the sweetheart to get back ordinary as a sentimental motion. It doesn't have that appeal of Himesh bhai and won't work at all with the masses. There is likewise a remix rendition of the melody and a repeat form additionally neglect to make any effect.<br />

<b>Punjabi Mast: </b>Sung by Himesh Reshammiya, Ankit Tiwari, Arya Acharya, Vineet Singh, Alam Gir Khan and Neeti Mohan, this is another wacky lyrical song. The song’s music is dance worthy and will make you want to stand up and dance but the lyrics are the mood spoiler. The remix version of the song is no better than the original one.<br />

<b>Chichora Piya: </b>Sung by Himesh Reshammiya and Shalmali Kholgade, this song is again not the typical Himesh song that you would expect. The music is going haywire and Himesh keeps screaming some random lyrics throughout. The music and lyrics seems to be that of a male item number but there is nothing in the song to jump up and dance. Again a remix version of the song and again, equally pathetic.<br />

<b>Dhoom Dhaam:</b> Sung by Ankit Tiwari and Palak Muchhal, this song is the only song in the album which is worth a listen. The song has the typical Ankit Tiwari feel of soothing romance throughout. Palak Muchchal’s velvety voice is a good accompaniment. However, Sameer Anjaan’s lyrics could have been better as when you hear the name of the song Dhoom Dhaam, you wouldn’t expect a super romantic track.<br />
<br />
<b>Gangster Baby:</b> Sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Neeti Mohan, this song seems to be the background score of the movie. The song is high on techno music beats and has some decent lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed. It maybe the introduction song where Ajay’s gangster avatar comes up on screen for the first time. However, the initial guitar strumming, which has come out really well, is actually copied from a superhit south song Adiye Kolluthe from Varanam Aiyiram (Starring Suriya and Sameera Reddy).<br />
<br />
<b>Verdict:</b> Himesh Reshammiya seems to have stooped too low in the lyrics department, however, his music is still very dance-worthy. The romantic track is the only saving grace in the album. <br />
