Sonam Kapoor, who was in Gondal, Gujarat for the shoot of her upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo opposite
 Salman Khan, is felled with swine flu. After having complained of sore 
throat and fever, the actress was immediately admitted to the Sterling 
hospital in Rajkot Saturday morning for further testing.

A while ago, Uthtvforum had contacted Sonam’s spokesperson, who 
informed that the tests for swine flu were being conducted but that it 
was too early to say anything. It has now been confirmed that the blood 
samples tested positive for the flu.

Rajkot district collector Manisha Chandra said, “Sonam Kapoor
 tested positive for swine flu today and she is being treated at 
Sterling hospital in the city.” He also informed that she could have 
caught the virus from her physical trainer who was infected by the 
virus.

Reportedly, Sonam who reached Rajkot on Wednesday was already 
suffering from the infection and only got sicker by the day. Sonam, 
infact, wanted to return to Mumbai two days ago to get herself treated 
of the fever from her family doctor. By Friday night, however, Sonam 
went through a severe spell of coughing and fever, following which she 
was rushed to the hospital Saturday morning.

Ab Tak Chappan has become a cult classic. The 2004 cop action drama film is etched deep in the minds of people across the world, mainly because of Nana Patekar’s superb portrayal of Sadhu Agashe—a character based on the real life of Mumbai sub-inspector Daya Nayak. So when in 2012, I saw the first trailer of the sequel, Ab Tak Chappan 2, as a fan I was very excited to see the film. However, the film kept getting delayed and it finally got a release date, three years later. Still, being a Nana Patekar fan, I wanted to watch this film throughout till the end and here’s what I felt about the film… What it’s about The film picks up from where the first installment ends. But Sadhu isn’t in the police department anymore. He now lives in a secluded village in Goa with his son. Mumbai is under terrorist threat and the CM asks Sadhu to be back in office. After a lot of coaxing, he finally agrees when his son asks him to join back. He is back in form in no time and starts working in his usual way by killing gangsters after getting information from  informers. However, pretty soon, his son is killed by the mafia, just like his wife was. Post that begins Sadhu’s saga of revenge and how he tries to clean up the system by staying inside the police department.

On February 27, Sivakarthikeyan’s
 Kakki Sattai is all set to release and expectations are indeed high. 
This is the actor’s first Tamil release in 2015 and it will set the ball
 rolling for the rest of his films this year. Produced by Dhanush’s 
Wunderbar Productions, the movie directed by R Mathimaran is said to be 
good as it has music by Anirudh as well.

An industry source says, “Sivakarthikeyan had a pretty good 2013 but 
only one release in 2014 – Maan Karate. This film will determine how 
much he’s a crowd-puller and if he can retain his market in Tamil 
cinema.” The actor has a lot of fans across Singapore and Malaysia. 
Though Sivakarthikeyan is considered a bankable actor by producers, how 
Kakki Sattai does at the box office is important for future films. Kakki
 Sattai was supposed to release in 2014 but for some reason got pushed 
to 2015. The only other film he has for release this year is Rajini 
Murugan.

Back in 2006, Jayam Ravi and Trisha were paired together for the 
first time in a hit film Something Something. Back then, the duo was 
considered to be a hot onscreen pair. But, who would have thought that 
it would take nearly 9 years for the two actors to share screen space

poster, we see Jayam Ravi in a colourful lungi clad avatar, carelessly 
whistling away. Both the posters have one thing in common – rich strokes
 of colours and eye catchy costumes makes Appatakkar posters stand out.

 is doing Nitesh Tiwari’s next directorial venture Dangal is known to 
all. The versatile actor will play a wrestler in the film which is 
reportedly based on the life Mahavir Phogat. That’s not all! The
 superstar will be seen going through three different stages. Aamir will
 be seen as a 19-year-old then a 29-year-old and lastly a 55-year-old. 
It was also being said that Khan will play a father to two daughters in 
Tiwari’s film. But as per the latest gossip, Mr Perfectionist will be 
seen playing a daddy to four daughters in Dangal. Now that’s interesting news, hai na?

While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “No actress has 
been finalised as of now, but we are looking for girls who can look as 
young as 14 to 18 years. Though a lot of names have come up in the 
discussions, the casting is yet to be locked.”

“Aamir
 has four different looks throughout the film and one of them will be of
 a 55-year-old father. However, he is not involved in the casting 
process. Casting director Mukesh Chabbra will soon hold auditions in 
small towns to cast the girls. We are not looking for actors, but 
performers who can pull off a rustic look,” added the source.

When the trailers of Shamitabh hit the tube, there was a promise of quality and looks like he has delivered on his promise so far. He said, “R Balki comes up with a breezy entertainer which tells a tale of a differently abled person Daanish, played by Dhanush. Daanish is mute by birth but all he can think about is films. When he grows up, he comes to Mumbai to become an actor but no one pays heed to a mute Daanish. Akshara Haasan comes to his rescue as she sees talent in him. A special technology for the speech impaired helps Daanish to speak by listening to other people’s voice. That’s when a bumbling drunkard, Big B comes into picture, who becomes Daanish’s voice. Soon Daanish becomes Shamitabh the superstar. But seeing Daanish becoming a superstar with his voice makes Amitabh jealous. The rest of the film seems to be about their ego clashes. Dhanush is wonderful as the mute Daanish; his expressions and eyes speak volumes. He is funny and extremely entertaining. Mr Bachchan is at his best as a drunkard with the dumdaar voice. Big B has some of the most funny and outrageous lines in the film and he nails each dialogue with perfection. Akshara makes a commendable debut, playing mediator between Amitabh and Dhanush. The fanfare surrounding Vikram’s I reached it’s peak, when the long awaited film finally hit the screens this Pongal. Taking into the account the wide spread promotions and the buzz around the film, trade experts predicted a strong opening for I at the box office. Though the film was panned by the critics for a weak story line, the film had managed to silence them by making over a 100 crore at the end of the first week. Before the Vikram’s I had seen light, fans were comparing it with director Shankar’s Enthiran starring Rajinikanth, wondering if I could manage to out do Enthiran at box office. Looking at the box office figures, I would not rule out I’s chances of actually surpassing Enthiran’s figures. Though Vikram-Amy Jackson starrer did lukewarm business with it’s Hindi dubbed version, it’s Tamil and Telugu version made sure that Shnakar’s I rakes Rs 200 crore at box office in matter of three weeks. The film did exceptionally well at the international market, as I made a large chunk of its profit from US, Malaysian, UK, Canadian and Australian box office. Now the trade experts are wondering if I can actually beat Enthiran‘s box office collection, which was a whopping Rs 256 crore. With a big film like Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal releasing this weekend, it would be interesting to see if I manages to hold it’s ground at the box office. </div>

Last year was fantastic for Bollywood as all the three Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir – not only graced the big screen but also got cash registers jingling and how. And though Mr Perfectionist won’t have any release in 2015, the year is still going to iconic. Well, that’s because Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will all turn 50 this year. The PK hero will be the first one to blow 50 candles on his birthday cake followed by Gauri Khan’s hubby and lastly the Being Human superstar. Aamir will celebrate his golden jubilee birthday on March 14 whereas Fan actor on November 2 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan hero on December 27. Though I dunno what are their plans for the special occasion, I am pretty sure all three of them will bring in their 50th birthday in style. But that’s not important as of now. What I really want to know is – which Khan looks sexiest at 50? Yes, its a tough call considering Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir have always been in great shape and have even sported 6 or 8 pack abs onscreen. Considering they belong to entertainment industry, its pre-requisite for them to look good and stay fit. But even that’s not easy because actors have to often change their diet and workout regime depending upon the kind of roles they do. In fact, with age its gets tougher stay to so fit . However, that’s not the case with Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir. They keep looking better or should I say hotter which each passing year. Remember the old adage, “fine wine only gets better with age,”? Varun Dhawan: From Karan Johar’s one student to the other; VD is one of the few B-towners who came out and appreciated the AIB Knockout. We hear he seemed to enjoy it sooo much that he’s dying to do it himself. We love the idea! Riteish Deshmukh: He’s the King of comedy. Not just on silver screen, but on stage and in real life too RD has a funny side. No wonder then that he’s such a fabulous host. With Riteish on stage, we can expect some cool comebacks too. Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri: Well, together or not this duo will make the perfect Roast contestants. While Nargis has a great sense of humour, which is visible in her Twitter posts, Uday too is wacky. And we’re sure the two will be the panel’s delight. Saif Ali Khan: The Nawab of Pataudi like Riteish has a penchant for romcoms. Those in his close circles swear that he has a wicked sense of humour.  While we are yet to find out who the leading lady opposite Salman Khan will be in the Karan Malhotra film, we now know that the evil bad in the movie is Sanjay Dutt. Shuddhhi will have a face off between Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Mr Dutt also featured as the main baddie in Karan Malhotra’s hit debut Agneepath and he was seen making Hrithik Roshan’s character Vijay’s life hell in that film! Sanjay garnered a lot of critical acclaim for his believably venomous performance as the brutal Kancha Cheena in Agneepath. We can only expect Karan Malhotra to cast Sanjay in a character even more villainous that the last one! While the lead actor and the main villain of the film have been finalised, Shuddhhi is yet to get its leading lady. Several names have been tossed around the table. Recently rumours were rife that Deepika Padukone might be signing the film but nothing has been confirmed yet.
