Back in 2006, Jayam Ravi and Trisha were paired together for the first time in a hit film Something Something. Back then, the duo was considered to be a hot onscreen pair. But, who would have thought that it would take nearly 9 years for the two actors to share screen space again. In 2015, Trisha and Jayam Ravi will star together not once but twice in Bhoologam and Appatakkar.
Appatakkar has been in news for a while thanks to altercations with Kajal Aggarwal, who was first being considered for the lead role. The first look of director Suraaj’s Appatakkar is out and this is what I thought of it:
Jayam Ravi clad in white shirt and white dhoti, donning a thin moustache seems to be playing a role of rustic villager. In the poster, we see Ravi carrying Trisha over her shoulder, adding an edgy, quirky factor to the poster. Trisha looks red hot, clad in a sexy red dress. In another poster, we see Jayam Ravi in a colourful lungi clad avatar, carelessly whistling away. Both the posters have one thing in common – rich strokes of colours and eye catchy costumes makes Appatakkar posters stand out.
