Then we EXCLUSIVELY revealed that Farah Khan will take over from Salman Khan as the host from January 4, 2015. And now we have some more scoop about the high voltage reality show.<br /><br />So this time around the makers of Bigg Boss 8 have decided to announce two winners. Yes, the format has been changed a bit and this will be the first time in the history of Bigg Boss that two contestants will walk away with the coveted title.<br /><br />“The first winner will be from the current lot of contestants. And then there will be another finale with Farah in February where the second winner will be announced,” reveals a source closely associated with the show.<br /><br />As we have already told you, some former contestants have been approached to make a wild card entry on the show. And from what we know, Mahek Chahal, Ajaz Khan, Sambhavna Seth have already given their nod. The production team had a meeting with the contestants for almost an hour and discussed the idea of extending the show for a month. Most of the contestants inside have agreed for it,” reveals a source closely associated with the show.<br /><br />Since Salman‘s contract expires in January, the production team started looking out for his replacement. The makers first approached Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor to replace the Kick actor, but after they refused, Farah came on board.<br /><br />“Salman can’t host the show after the first week of January due to his choc-a-bloc schedule. Hence, after a lot of negotiations, they finally roped in Farah as the host,” adds the source.</div>

However, the Dhoom:3 baddie backed out citing creative differences and script issues. However, there is also buzz that the real reason behind the PK hero turning the Farhan’s film is remuneration.<br /><br />Apart from this project, Aamir was offered a film by Karan Johar. The Dharma head honcho has been wanting to team with the Fanaa actor for the longest time. Johar even had few meeting with Aamir apparently the duo even worked on the script together but eventually Azad’s daddy dearest rejected the proposal and left Karan in a sticky situation. Had Mr Perfectionist said yes to KJo’s venture then we would have seen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aamir onscreen.<br /><br />Yes, we know the Satyamev Jayate host is very picky when it comes to choosing films but then at times it better to trust the makers and go with the flow then sit back and fuss over script. Well, the figures may vary a bit since nobody associated with Lingaa has till now announced the box office collection. However, industrywallas down South are sure that Rajinikanth’s film has had a record first day collection.<br /><br />Also, Lingaa has not only fared well in India but abroad as well. Yesterday, ATMUS Entertainment, distributors of Tamil films in US, had tweeted, “#Lingaa thalaivar makes into 7th highest all time Tamil grosser of USA with just 1 day gross. In June, the talented actress-turned-producer will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’ much-awaited family drama Dil Dhadakne Do alongside her ex-flame Ranveer Singh.<br /><br />While NH10 will isn’t a big budget film, Anushka is quite confident about her maiden production film. On the other hand, Bombay Velvet has been in the news ever since the project was announced. Since the PK heroine is coming together with Ranbir for the very first time, the curiosity around the film is very high. Not to forget, Kashyap’s directorial venture will also mark Karan Johar’s acting debut. Another reason why masses are eager to watch this flick. As for Dil Dhadakne Do, well, its a multi starrer but Anushka has teamed up with Ranveer for the first time after they parted ways romantically. Also, since the two share amazing onscreen chemistry, all eyes will be on them when their film releases in June. The film that stars Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautam, Manasvi Mamgai and Kunal Roy Kapur will hit the screens today.<br /><br /><b>What is it about:</b><br /><br />Vishy (Ajay Devgn) is a fun loving and carefree small time crook and Moosa (Kunal Roy Kapur) is his friend as well as accomplice in all his actions, adventures and escapades. It is a coincidence that Vishy meets Khushi (Sonakshi) one day. Khushi is considered the unluckiest girl by her friends because bad luck follows her like a shadow everywhere. But her luck changes the day she meets Vishy. And then the realization that Vishy is lucky for her dawns on her when she bumps into him for the third time. From then on she relentlessly tries to pursue him so that her luck changes. As a result there are a lot of funny incidents that lead to them falling in love with each other. One day a man accidentally sees Vishy’s picture and gets stunned and he makes a call and somehow tries to inform Mafioso Xavier, a deadly and dreaded international Mafia Don. Xavier immediately dispatches his notorious henchmen to Mumbai. Vishy is unaware that a whole network of Police and Underworld are on the lookout for him. Vishy is in shock at the sudden turn of events and soon a deadly secret unfolds before him. We won’t disclose this secret for those who want to watch the film.<br /><br /><b>What’s hot:</b><br /><br />Ajay Devgn looks hot in his well sculpted avatar and is seen bare chested in most of the scenes. Sonakshi Sinha, as always, has pulled off the bubbly talkative love interest of the hero very well. Despite the minimal screen space, Yami Gautam makes the best of her presence. Manaswi Mamgai, the newbie, ups the hotness quotient of the film. Kunal Roy Kapur and Ajay have some great comic punch lines which will leave you splits. The music by Himesh Reshammiya is decent and foot tapping, however, the songs lose their charm because of tacky lyrics. Himesh does belt out a great romantic number which features Yami and Ajay.<br /><br /><b>What’s not:</b><br /><br />The plot of Action Jackson is very confusing so much that you’ll have no idea as to what’s going on throughout the film. Prabhu Dheva’s direction just simply falls flat here. Even an actor as brilliant as Ajay does nothing more than to show-off his hot bod. Manaswi Mamgai has throughout portrayed only one expression, which makes her look like some Ramsay Brothers’ horror film actress. And Yami Gautam and Kunal Roy Kapur’s acting talent seems to have gone wasted for the most part.<br /><br />Prabhu Dheva is a brilliant dancer and he proves the same at the end with his dance moves in the AJ theme song, but he sure shouldn’t have asked Ajay to imitate him. Ajay seemed uncomfortable doing the dance steps and in some scenes you could actually see Ajay trying to look at the choreographers behind the camera for help.<br /><br />Also defying all logic, the movie has scenes where Manasvi kills people by stabbing them, but somehow mysteriously they comeback alive in the end. The villain’s gang has a dress code which further reduces credibility. And to top it up, a huge-built henchman from the villain’s gang gets beaten to pulp by just one slap of Ajay Devgn (Wow!). Ajay’s double role was an unnecessary element since all he had to do was beat up the goons. So the plot could have been kept simple by just that.<br /><br /><b>Verdict:</b><br /><br />Only a die-hard Ajay fan can walk out of the film without regretting the of time and money spent and wasted on the film.</div>

My excitement knew no bounds when AR Rahman’s brilliant music album was unveiled and I was eagerly waiting for this day to figure if Siddharth-Prithviraj starrer delivers its promise or leaves me disappointed. Lets quickly dive into the review and see what Kaaviya Thalaivan has to offer.<br /><br /><b>What’s it about:</b><br /><br />The film tells a story about a theatre group in per-independence era run by ace veteran theatre artist Siva Dasan played by Naseer who takes in two young boys in his company – Kali and Gomathi played by Siddharth and Prithviraj respectively. Though Gomathi eyes to be Siva Dasan’s favourite, it is Kali who charms him with his brilliant histrionics. This leads to jealousy swelling in the heart of Gomathi. Meanwhile, Kali falls in love with zamindar’s daughter and Vadivu, who joins the theatre and catches the eye of Gomathi. When Gomathi comes to know about Kali’s affair, he informs it to the guru who in anger asks Kali to take pledge of never seeing the Zamindar’s daughter again. Fearing their lives from Zamindar’s wrath, the theatre group flees to an another town. All of a sudden Gomathi becomes the Guru’s new favourite and Kali is sidelined and neglected by Siva Dasan. One night, after having a tiff with Kali, Siva Dasan passes away and Gomathi takes over the drama company. Gomathi blames Kali for guru’s death and asks him to leave. As fate has it, after few years Kali and Gomathi meet again, which leads Kali stealing Gomathi’s thunder on stage yet again. Not just that, he is infuriated to find that Vadivu loves Kali. Later, Kali is taken over by the independence struggle as he starts doing plays on freedom struggle, which get him in trouble. Kali’s plays gain immense popularity, leaving no audience for traditional plays dished out by Gomathi and group. Does the tiff between Kali and Gomathi end? Does Gomathi turn a new leaf? I guess you will have to find out on your own.<br /><br /><b>What’s good:</b><br /><br />Kudos to writer-director Vasanthabalan for stepping out of the comfort zone of regular potboilers and delivering a refreshing film which is high on drama that keeps you engaged. Siddharth is the heart and soul of the film as the actor dances, performs, cries, laughs showing off the wide range of emotions which he is capable of delivering. Playing the good guy can generally be boring, but looks like Siddharth had lot of fun playing Kali as his energy and enthusiasm transcends through the screen. Prithviraj is the surprise package in the film as his villainous act is sure to floor you. The actor aptly generates the empathy of audience towards his character, who is tired of losing to Kali all his life. Vedhicka has limited screen time, but the pretty lass manages to impress with her theatrical abilities. Nasseer is in fine form as guru Siva Dasan and proves why he is such a revered actor in Tamil cinema. Thambi Ramaiah and other supporting cast has done a decent job too. AR Rahman’s music gives great boost to the narrative as I found myself humming and tapping my feet along with all the songs. Karna Motcham is a stroke of magic by Mozart of Madras as I fought hard to hold back my tears.<br /><br /><b>What’s bad:</b><br /><br />It is hard to say something bad about a film like Kaaviya Thalaivan which ticks off the right boxes in all aspects of film making. But if I had to pin point one, then it had to be the slow pacing of the film. Vasanthabalan’s film at times becomes so self absorbed in it’s song and dance that it starts to drag a bit. Also the director has tried to convey a lot of things in a single film, which has also led to the film’s run time stretching over two and a half hours.<br /><br /><b>What to do?</b><br /><br />Siddharth strikes gold yet again with Kaaviya Thalaivan, but the film belongs to Prithviraj who shines as a baddie. Watch the film for three reasons – Siddharth, Prithviraj and AR Rahman. While you guys head to see KT on big screen, I am off to catch a local play around my neighbourhood, all thanks to KT. Starring an ensemble cast of Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Neil Bhoopalam and Angad Bedi, Ungli is a film which shows sparks of brilliance here and there, but alas falters to rise above the Bollywood clichés. Without taking up more time, I will quickly take you through the review and let you know why Ungli disappointed me as I left the cinema hall.<br /><br /><b>What’s it about: </b><br /><br />Four friends Abhay, Maya, Goti and Kalim may seem like normal people stuck in their boring jobs. But look closely as there is more than what meets the eye. At nightfall, these bunch of friends turn into masked social vigilantes, who teach lessons to corrupt officers and bureaucrats by unconventional ways. Lovingly called as Ungli gang by the masses, their growing popularity becomes a headache for police department as Inspector Kale is assigned to nab the notorious gang. Kale seeks help of Nikhil, an easy going street smart cop, to assist him in catching hold of Ungli gang. Nikhil manages to win the trust of the gang by becoming one of them, but later is caught confused as to where his loyalties lie – police or Ungli gang. Can Kale nab the rebellious gang? And which side will Nikhil choose to be faithful to?<br /><br /><b>What’s good:</b><br /><br />The film kicks off to a bright start as the first hour of the film is brisk and entertaining. The unique ways of Ungli gang of punishing the corrupt officers is fun as it managed to keep me interested. If we talk about the performances, I feel the film just belongs to two actors – Randeep Hooda and Emraan Hashmi. Randeep Hooda as a crime journalist cum Ungli gang leader manages to ooze charm and authority in equal measures. Emraan Hashmi has done full justice to his role as he manages to bring out the internal conflict of his character, Nikhil, with panache. It felt good to see Sanjay Dutt back on screen as the veteran actor gives an earnest performance as an honest cop Kale. The screenplay is crisp and the film doesn’t fall prey to the usual practice of Bollywood films of dragging the film into an overly stretched second half. A special mention to the cheeky one liners spouted by Hashmi and Dutt as it brings a smile on your face. Though unnecessary, I did enjoy sexy Shraddha Kapoor’s Dance Basanti.<br /><br /><b>What’s bad:</b><br /><br />All the good work done in the first half is lost when film enters the familiar territory of crime thriller post interval. Not just the predictable plot, but the contrived back story behind the formation of Ungli gang was a huge turn off for me. I mean, come-on guys, do you think you can emotionally manipulate me by telling some sad story about injustice done to Arunoday Singh in coma? I would have preferred that the motive of this gang was hidden instead. Romantic track between Emraan and Kangana looks forced and sudden. The plot kicks in only at the second half, so you can spot the director rushing through the story not giving enough time for the characters to interact and react with conviction. The talented Kangana Ranaut gets a raw deal as she is stuck in a caricaturish role with limited screen time to make any impact. No wonder she has been missing from the promotions of Ungli. Neil Bhoopalam and Angad Bedi are just there to fill the frame. In some of the tasks which the Ungli gang pulls off, especially in the climax, it is surprising to see that not all members of the gang are present, which in turn makes me wonder if Rensil D’Silva struggled in handling an ensemble starcast.<br /><br /><b>What to do?</b><br /><br />Keeping aside all its flaws and shortcomings, Ungli is still a decent entertainer and warrants a one time watch as there is nothing much to munch on for movie goers at theatres this weekend. Go with zero expectations and chances are that you won’t show me your ‘ungli’ for recommending Ungli.<br /><br />Rating: 2.5 out of 5<br /><br />* Poor<br /><br />** Average<br /><br />*** Good<br /><br />**** Very good<br /><br />***** Excellent

So I started reducing but after a point weight reduce hi nahi ho raha tha. I did everything to lose weight but nothing really worked. I did yoga, running, gym and what not. Later, I came to know that my metabolism tissues had torn because I had cried a lot when my mother passed away. I was hospitalised for some time back then but that problem stayed. Then I did Savitri and I could reduce the weight the way I wanted to. I was asked to do it for three years and I did it for that long. I reduced weight and now I don’t even catch cough.<br /><br />What is Savitri?<br /><br />Savitri and Gayatri are Brahm vidya. It’s very good and I tell everyone at my home also to read it and understand it because it’s really good.<br /><br />After Shikari, you are now playing a villain in Kill Dil. It’s a long time, how does it feel?<br /><br />I am feeling good because people have liked the trailer and when I working on the film I didn’t think I would be able to do a villain’s role. I even told Shaad Ali that if it doesn’t look good ten after two three days we’ll male some excuse ke aise waise ho gaya …smiles.<br /><br />What if you get typecast and keep getting offers like this?<br /><br />The person who is giving money and respect is never bad (laughs). Whatever time gives is never bad.<br /><br />Why were you hesitant initially about playing a villain in Kil Dil?<br /><br />Because I haven’t done this role before and jab kiya tha tab confidence bahut high tha na. With Yash Raj, you know when Shah Rukh Khan played a villain in Darr, their presentation is never wrong. When a hero is playing a villain’s role, its important how he is presented and Yash Raj mein presentation galat nahi hoti. So I was like, ‘this villain looks nice because it’s being presented like a hero.’ In that way, you don’t become a villain, it’s just a point of view. He thinks he is right on his part and others can do whatever they want or feel whatever they want. They present villains that way and that’s what I liked.<br /><br />But were you hesitant to play a baddie because of the image you had already made?<br /><br />See when I do a role; I should feel I am doing it very honestly. I should feel like that character so that at least it becomes memorable. So meri wahi chahat thi…<br /><br />Since Gunday, Ranveer Singh has been praising you a lot and even in his recent interview he said that he had the best time dancing and shooting with you…<br /><br />Mujhe toh woh kamala lagta hai, may god bless him. I saw his and Deepika Padukone’s film and though I couldn’t see the climax, I whistled quite a lot during the film…smiles. He has worked very hard. Usne jo body banayi who hum log kabhi nahi bana paye. Whatever role Ranveer is doing, he dives into it completely. And he does it very honestly. His appreciation isn’t fake and nor he is as a person. You can see that in his eyes. And it’s very rare so I pray he stays like this as long as possible. Because then he can bring out better characters out of himself. Honestly is like a treasure which everyone is tries to steal from you. So it’s important to stay the way you have always been for as long as possible. He is very good and I really like him. The only tip I gave him was the body he showed in Ram Leela, he should keep that and his personality like that forever. Bahut saal baad aisi personality dekhi.<br /><br /><b>Is he capable of becoming the next Govinda?</b><br /><br />Main jis daur se nikli hoon ab waisa daur bhi nahi hai, toh wo next Govinda kaise banega? Wo kaise 48 ya 49 films kaise karega at a time? Toh he is unique in is own way and the way he works I am sure wo kuch alag niklega. People who work hard always become big.<br /><br /><b>From Shahid Kapoor to Ranveer Singh, everybody says they have taken inspiration from you when it comes to dancing…</b><br /><br />But tell them only one thing: Tum kabhi dance ko dance ki tarak karo hi nahi. Tum bina bole baat karo. Ye log ab kar rahe hain aise. I remember Sonakshi’s song with Shahid from R…Rajkumar, I really liked it a lot. Mujhe Sonakshi aur Shahid ki jodi bhi achi lagi. Deepika and Ranveer also look good together. When they work, aisa lagta hai wah wah wah…nikal padi…(laughs).<br /><br /><b>Ranveer in one of his interviews said that Govinda as performer and as an actor never got his due. Do you agree with that?</b><br /><br />It depends on where do you see the due? I could serve my family and I could look after my parents, I could do work. I came from Virar and became world’s 10th popular man. Today most artists follow my kind of cinema so for me this is enough. And awards aur woh sab ke liye toh puri zindagi padi hai. You can do good work whenever you want.<br /><br /><b>Comedy during your time was very different than what it is today. What’s your take on that?</b><br /><br />I don’t think their language is wrong. Jis cheez ki bhasha galat nahi, wo har cheez achi hai. When Ajanta Alora was made, a lot of people may have taken objection at that time. But that language isn’t wrong. Toh jiski bhasaha galat nahi hi aur jiska dil bhi galat nahi hai wo toh acha hi hota hai and who mujhe har tarah se acha hi lagta hai?<br /><br /><b>So would be comfortable doing a sex comedy?</b><br /><br />Main har jagah comfortable hoon, jahan kaam mil raha hai. But I should know that whatever he is saying, he is saying nicely. But uss waqt agar samjh main nahi aaya to bad luck.</div>

I have a collection of all his music, most of those chart busters that he made popular.<br /><br />Further, Deepika Padukone’s boyfriend said, “In fact it was amazing, when he wrapped his part for the schedule of Kill Dill, I had my collection of his songs, and I knew it that the day he wraps the shoot that night am going to play all his songs. So I was playing all his songs from Meri pant bhi sexy to Raste se ja raha tha, to Hero No.1, everything and dancing to them. I remember I was full on dancing and had broken a sweat, and he was just standing there giving me a look and in the middle of it all, he just broke into a dance and everyone’s eyes were on him.
