Singham Returns, we decided 15th August as the release date

The actor in an exclusive chat reveals how he is unaffected by the second half of the year being crammed with big releases


Ajay Devgn who will be seen packing a punch as Bajirao Singham this Independence Day has high hopes from the film.

On being asked if he would have opted for a different release date for the film, the action hero said, “I think 15th August is also a great date. Its obviously not an Eid or a Diwali holiday which makes a lot of difference for a film but its a great date. The day we decided on making Singham Returns, we decided 15th August as the release date, not because there was too much of crowd later or anything.”

Devgn is mighty confident about his action-packed offering for the audience and as a co-producer of SR too he feels that the film will do good business.
