Looks like Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom has won the audiences over. On its first day the film made approximately Rs 8.5 crores at the Box office. On its second day at the theatres Mary Kom has managed to rake in almost the same amount as the first day and stands at an approximate figure of Rs 17.50 crore!

Trade analysts reveal that though the film has been failing to pull crowds at single screens, its doing well with multiplex audiences in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and West Bengal.

Despite being tax-free in many regions Mary Kom hasn’t picked up in places like Gujarat, Central India and Uttar Pradesh but we are expecting a rise in the numbers.
