Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez- actors who should work in Hollywood dance films’ remakes

Millions are eagerly waiting to see Shraddha Kapoor- Varun Dhawan shake a leg in Remo D’souza’s ABCD2 which is about to see its release soon. I’m aware that Varun most certainly is a kukkad who is rather kamaal at his dancing skills. But I’m curious to see how great our Basanti Shraddha Kapoor is with her moves. The ABCD series remind me of Hollywood’s Step Up franchise which became a rage ever since Channing Tatum got down with it! There were many Hollywood dance films that became a sensation and are still fondly remembered. So here’s a thought; what if our B-town celebs had to act in some of their remakes? I list down top dancers from our fraternity that could step it up well and good:

Dance With Me- Sushant Singh Rajput and Katrina Kaif

Remember rooting for Sushant when he was a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa? I was as heartbroken as you guys, when the lad didn’t take home the trophy. Though the actor hasn’t really gotten a chance to showcase his killer moves on-screen yet, one can’t forget the way Mr Byomkesh Bakshy moves. Now picture him with our gorgeous Kamli, Sheila and Chameli- Katrina Kaif. Wouldn’t this dancing jodi getcha in the grove? The two will be apt to essay Chayanne- Vanessa Williams’ role from Dance With Me and will scorch our screens.

Dirty Dancing- Shahid Kapoor- Jacqueline Fernandez

“Oh faaa****ck” was my reaction when I saw Jacky’s stunts in Kick’s Jumme Ki Raat song. Now this babe has some dirty moves and that’s exactly what I mean when I pick her as my choice to play the role of Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing. Her Patrick Swayze can be none other than our Gandi Baat man Shahid Kapoor! I can SO picture this.

Shall We Dance- Hrithik Roshan- Deepika Padukone

I still can’t wrap my head around why two of the best looking stars Hrithik and Deepika, haven’t been cast together for a film till now. Really? I can think of no two people who can play the charming Richard Gere and sizzling Jennifer Lopez from Shall We Dance in its remake, other than Dippy and Duggu. Can you imagine the fireworks when these too will Waltz, Cha Cha or Tango together on the big screen?

Flashdance- Priyanka Chopra

Sexy and irresistible- that’s what I would wish to see in the actress who will play Alex’s role from Flashdance. Who better than Priyanka Chopra for the part? I still remember her sizzling number from Ram-Leela, where she’s teasing her Ram, all dressed in white. PC oozes oomph like other and has the kind of fire needed for one to play the bold Alex. I can imagine you guys nodding to this idea!
